I am not a fan of powdered milk, but I added 1 1/2 tsp. sugar to a gallon, and it's not too bad.
You can also try adding 1 tsp. vanilla.
If that doesn't work for you, you can try mixing 1/2 gallon powdered milk with 1/2 gallon store milk.

I was so not a fan of powdered milk, nor was anyone in my family, until I found Country Cream Milk. It is not a money saver, ends up costing about the same or so as milk from the store, BUT by having this on hand, it reduces the temptations at the store when having to go to buy more milk. Milk, eggs and bread is what most keep going back to the store for. It really does taste great. We store it in cleaned out milk jugs, always make a fresh gallon at night so it is icy cold in the morning. Clancey was my pickiest by far, so when i bought it, he kept asking me when we were gonna try it. After a few weeks, he asked again. I then told him you have been drinking it for the past two weeks, He was converted! The stuff from the dry pack cannery is great for baking and such, but Country Cream wins hands down for good ol drinking milk!!

For those of us in Utah, well we can drive to Sandy and just pick it up or you can also have it shipped!
Give it a try!!! I think you will be very suprised! For my family of 6, we can go 6 months on 2 5 gal pails!
