You should try to use one item from your year supply of food storage each day: wheat, beans, potato, rice, pasta, and oatmeal (one day might be leftovers or eating out). Rotate them so that you use all of them at least once a week.
Then, each day, add items from your 3-month supply (canned and dry goods. I consider things like salsa, peanut butter and cake mixes part of my 3-month supply.)
